Sharon Gaughan has an extensive organizational development career where she is committed to implementing customized executive management development solutions that bring together individual leadership effectiveness and organizational performance. Sharon has partnered with IMPACT Learning™ Inc., a company directed at providing comprehensive resources for today’s leader.

Sharon possesses over twenty-five years consulting experience in executive coaching, management and leadership skills development, and implementation of human resource information systems. That experience includes thirteen years of successful corporate management expertise in both Human Resource and Information Technology Management roles in a Fortune 500 manufacturing and aerospace organization.

Sharon has founded two companies, SMG ENTERPRISES, Inc., a leadership and organizational development consulting practice, and GLOBALPOINTE, Inc., a system development practice, focusing on the integration of organizational goals with systems development and implementation to enhance overall corporate performance. In her consulting engagements, Sharon has consulted with a variety of industries, including airline, banking, insurance, food and tobacco, utilities, insurance, health care, nuclear defense, telecommunications, and many more. A sampling of her clients include: Endo Pharmaceuticals, American Airlines, Amoco, Eaton, Philip Morris, Allied Corporation, St. Paul Companies, Merck, Memorex Telex, Armstrong World Industries, Cuyahoga County Board of Health, Unisys, Boston Edison, John Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and TRW Inc.

With her in-depth business and management knowledge, and her consulting experience with a multitude of organizations, from small, entrepreneurial organizations to Fortune 100 corporations, Sharon brings an extensive skill base in partnering with IMPACT Learning™ Inc. in providing pragmatic, measurable solutions to an organization’s leaders.

Sharon’s approach in providing effective resources in developing today’s leaders draws on a variety of disciplines and tools that bridge psychology and adult development, executive and business coaching, and organizational development practices. She coaches executives, teams and individuals with high potential within the context of the corporate culture they inhabit and to facilitate the use of leadership strategies and transformational change management to achieve their organization’s goals.

Sharon earned a B.A. in Psychology from St. Louis University, St. Louis, MO. She also holds two masters degrees, a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA, and a M.S. in Organizational Development and Analysis from Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management, Cleveland, OH. She is a member of several professional organizations and has been recognized in Who’s Who of Female Executives.

Sharon is married and enjoys extensive traveling, reading, cooking, interior design, home staging, and home renovation.
